What are cookies?
Cookies should be understood as IT data, in particular text files, stored in the users’ terminal equipment intended for using websites. These files allow to recognize the user’s device and properly display the website tailored to his individual preferences. Cookies usually contain the name of the website from which they originate, their storage time on the end device and a unique number.
Cookies are used to adapt the content of websites to user preferences and to optimize the use of websites. They are also used to create statistics, excluding personal user identification, which allows improving the structure of the page and its content.
What cookies do we use?
Two types of cookies are used on websites:
- permanent cookies – these are files that remain on the user’s device for the time specified in the cookie file parameters or until they are manually removed by the user,
- session cookies – these are temporary files that remain on the user’s device until they log out of the website or turn off the software (web browser)
Do cookies contain personal data?
Cookies used by us do not store any personal data.
Is it possible to delete cookies?
By default, the software used to browse the content of websites by default allows the placement of cookies on the terminal device. These settings can be changed in such a way as to block the automatic handling of cookies in the web browser configuration, or to inform about them each time they are sent to the user’s device.
